As a QA Engineer at Nimi, you will be responsible for creating, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver top-quality software products.

Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and ensure the software meets acceptance criteria.
Identify, document, and track bugs and issues through to resolution.
Perform manual testing as needed to supplement automation.
Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and automation frameworks.
Contribute to CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance for automated testing.
Generate detailed test reports and ensure all testing records are maintained accurately.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience (3+ years) in software testing, with at least 2 years focused on automation.
Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (added advantage) and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript) and experience in writing automated tests.
Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with both front-end and back-end testing.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and documentation skills.

Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter.
Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
ISTQB or similar certification.
