Nimi designed and shipped a simplified onboarding experience where any developer could create a customized sandbox within minutes instead of days. This allowed developers to bring their ideas to life without any human involvement
While there was a lot of thorough, existing documentation, the issue was that it was difficult for a new developer to access and understand it. We partnered with a technical writer to simplify the documentation into four simple and actionable developer guides.
Now that external developers were building products themselves, there was a need for tools to access and cycle keys, SQS management, logging as well as seeding sandbox with sample data. Nimi designed and delivered this module in the dashboard.
Our team provided ecommendations on API design and development as well as putting in place some best practices. In partnership with the team, we migrated the API library to a Stoplight.io to encourage design-first development of API services.
